Vote-by-Mail Ballots

Mail ballots were sent to voters who requested one on Tuesday, October 1. You can track the status of your ballot on our website.

  • USPS Residential Service Disruptions Alerts
Individuals impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton can visit the USPS Residential Service Disruptions Alerts page to determine if there is an alternate USPS mail facility servicing their area. In the aftermath of the storms, mail carriers will attempt to deliver your mail; if unable to deliver it, your mail is held for 10 days at the designated USPS mail facility, where you can pick it up in person. After 10 days, your mail will be returned to the sender.

    • Lee County voters affected by these storms do not need to update their residential address if temporarily displaced. If you are receiving your mail at a different address besides your residential address, contact us at (239) 533-8683.
    • If you requested a vote-by-mail ballot and are in an area of Lee County that is not receiving mail or have an alternate address due to displacement, please call our office to request a replacement ballot at (239) 533-8683. Only one returned ballot per voter will be accepted.

Voting by mail is the most convenient way to vote if you cannot vote in person. In particular, those impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton, we urge Lee County voters to request a vote-by-mail ballot for the November 5, General Election.

The deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot to be mailed to you is 5:00 p.m., Thursday, October 24.
